It’s Relay for Life time and I’ve vowed to raise $500 this year. If you would like to donate to Relay For Life,
you may go to my Personal Donation Page and do so. You may also email me and I’ll send you my snail mail address or I also accept Pay Pal. Remember, for each $10 donated, you will receive a chance to win 2 pair custom knitted socks in your shoe size. This is a $40 value and I will let you choose the color and size. So let’s do it! Sock it to Cancer!
The hutch is complete. Now it has to be moved to it’s final location and we’ll be ready to go. MaMaMoo asked what the bunny’s name will be so….make some suggestions readers and we’ll pick the best one! He is an Angora all white and as I’ve previously stated, big. I’ll get the specific breed when we pick him up.
Follow up on the large ‘gift’ of cone yarn. I went through it, there appears to be several that are mixes but I kept out the best wool blends. I noticed one cone that appeared to have some moth damage so I put the chosen cones into the freezer to kill any possible left-over moth activity.
Even if I don’t make socks from it I can at least use it as waste yarn between each sock. So, all in all, I’m happy with receiving the free stuff.
The kids and I are on our way up to Brookings to purchase gas (It is $3.04 there and $3.39 here) and to visit Linda and her Llamas.
I think she will be shearing today and that will be fun to watch. Plus we’ll get to see the sheep and those
too cute dogs she has on her Web Site.
Finally I’ll be stopping by to purchase Opal to make, yes you guessed it, more socks!
Happy Monday!
