This is the last week for donations to the Relay For Life this year. As an incentive for your donation of $10, you will get your name entered in a drawing.  I will pull one name and they will receive two pairs of socks knitted on my Legare 47 sock machine. That is for each $10 donation to the Amercian Cancer Society on my Personal Donation Page you will receive one entry, donate $20 you get two chances etc.

I will knit your socks specific to your shoe size and color using my Opal yarns.  I will pay for shipping to you.  Such a deal.  Currently I only have 14 entries so your odds are pretty good.

Let’s sock it to cancer.

Today I’m dying yarn to put up on my Fernwood Woolworks   site.

If you’ve not visited, it is an interesting site.  Their approach Internet sales is from a different view, literally.  Only hand made items are sold on ETSY.  But the most interesting search option is by color.  You choose a color and it will show what is listed, I mean everything in that color that is listed for sale.  It is an amazing idea and kind of fun to play with.  You can also search by what is the most recently posted items.  So stop by to visit and have a nice Sunday.

Hey, congratulations! You won the $25 Lanas de Libelula gift certificate Dye-o-Rama prize! I’m still redesigning my shopping cart so I don’t have a coupon code for you right off (I thought Paypal’s gift certificate creation would work, but apparently, a merchant can’t buy their own gift certificate and send it to someone else–how weird and hugely flawed is that?) but I have a way to get around it, hmmm….shouldn’t explain it here, please send me an e-mail. We’ve had a transfer request in for Eureka for the last two years; love your zoo, love your co-ops, love your Clam Beach, love your Lost Coast brewery, greenery, wet weather, real estate prices, bookshops and Boll Weaver!
