My word I think I've found someone that knits more than me! :-D That's a lot of socks you've got going!!! All the other stuff is beautiful too! I couldn't EE dye anything this year. I have a rule that if what I dyed the year before isn't spun up, I can't dye any new stuff. But what you've done has inspired me to fix up my wheel and get spinning. I still have two boxes of dye waiting to be used. I never said I wouldn't buy extra dyes! ;-)

Thanks for commenting on my blog. If you hadn't, I might not have found your blog, and it looks interesting.

I have to go to work, and I'm in kind of a hurry, so I'll read more of your blog later.

I sell knitting patterns and finished goods. So far, I only have 3 patterns out, triangular shawls, wimples/hoods, and, my newest pattern, mitts. It's a very new business.

The thing that's different about them is that they're written to be knit in any weight yarn. Perfect for spinners!

If you go back a couple of posts, there are photos of a hood I was commissioned to make for a friend, and if you go to dweezy's blog and look around at the end of January, you can see a shawl he made from my pattern.

Or you can click on the my website link on my blog or go to www.lostarts.biz or see my ad on page 113 of the Spring issue of Spin-Off.

How did you manage to find a sock knitter? Those are pretty rare, aren't they?

Have you thought about making mitts? I can go into a store and buy socks, but not mitts. And you wouldn't have to weave the toe.

Lots of pretty socks on your page here.

I’ve tried the mitts on the machine and I just didn’t like how the thumb came out. I love to knit mitts out of brown sheep and felt them. That is this year’s Christmas gifts to everyone I know; or maybe felted slippers…haven’t decided yet.

Okay, so I see you are knitting socks on the knitting machine. That looks like fun. But is it 26 you said you have to make? That’s a lot of socks. Some how I think that the yarn you bought will be destined for a project very soon. You have me in suspence about meeting your deadline for the socks. Good Luck!
