Mystery Pouches

It’s spring break here on the Pacific Northwest Coast.  The kids are home and I’ve made the list of ‘chores’ for them to earn $$’s.  Never mind the chore list includes mostly things I don’t want to do like…

1.  Mow all the lawns (Linda, I need to rent a sheep!)

2.  Bag up the recyling (I would think this one would be a winner because they get to keep whatever $$’s paid for the recycling…believe you me, there is alot.)

3.  Wash Windows (Again, pretty easy, I pay $2 per window, any takers?)

4.  Power Wash the Greenhouse (What could be more fun than using a gas powered machine that shoots out a powerful stream of water when the outside temperature is about 40 degrees?)

5.  Use the quad and trailer and fill potholes on the road.  (A thankless job, we’ve lived here 17 years and have neighbors who have NEVER lifted a finger to fill pot holes.  But why should they, we always do it, right?)

6.  Leave Mom alone.  They are failing miserably on this one.

Knitting Update

I’ve been busy, using the LeGare to make unique and just plain weird things.  Any guesses that these could be?

Pouches for the Fingerless glove kits.

Last night while finishing them up and drinking a beer I had all 6 lined up on the couch next to me and got the giggles, (I’m sure the beer helped in this).  Would anyone be able to guess what they are?

They will be listed in the Web Store tomorrow so stay tuned for more information.
