What a wonderful post Lynette! Your stroll down memory lane caused me to take a short one as well - remembering going with your family when Katie was born, various church functions dodging certain folks (okay, maybe that's not the nicest memory). :)

It's always amazing to me how quickly time flies by. After Randy left Crescent City I told myself I had learned to always appreciate the 'here and now' because it just goes by too fast. And I've tried, but you know what? We've been in southern California almost 4 years and even though I SWORE we'd visit Catalina Island, and go to a Chargers game in San Diego, and visit Legoland - here we are leaving in a couple of weeks and we never did get to those places.

But I have loved living here and I *did* spend a lot of time at the beach - (a warm one!) - we went to lots of Angels games, did Disneyland annual passes one year, Universal Studio passes another year and enjoyed the novelty of relaxing by the pool while our Thanksgiving turkey cooked.

And now it's time to move on to another chapter and enjoy all that is to come in this one - all the while trying not to read too quickly and miss the fun of *right now*.

Thanks!
