Timber
The Mother Tree is down.
We cannot really count her rings as the center of the tree was rotten. That was the main reason for cutting it.
We saved 4 little sprouts to plant in a pot in the house. We’ll transplant them next spring.
It was very foggy so there were times we could not actually see what was going on.
Walt is a magician with a chain saw. He fell the tree EXACTLY where he wanted it.
There she goes. As a side note, the guy in the foreground was one of the loggers. He was wearing sandles and shorts. I guess that is what REAL loggers wear.
