<p><font size="4" face="Arial Narrow">Tomorrow morning I have a meeting with our local Small Business Administration to see about organizing my business better.  Hopefully I&#8217;ll come away with some good suggestions and leads.  I know I want to grow <a href="http://www.fernwoodwoolworks.com" title="Fernwood Woolworks">Fernwood Woolworks</a> and I have owned a small business before but it is always good to discuss business plans and hear about funding opportunities.</font></p>
<p><a target="_blank" href="http://photo.xanga.com/CAcablegal/e865e151531267/photo.html"><img width="400" src="http://xe8.xanga.com/65ed833a23031151531267/z112991112.jpg" alt="20071009_0034_1" style="border-width: 0px" /></a> <span style="width: 0px"></span></p>
<p><font size="4" face="Arial Narrow">If you&#8217;ve ever lived in an area where the wheather can change as frequently as ours does, you know that you just go ahead with whatever plans you had no matter what.  So when 20 of us set out yesterday to visit <a target="_new" href="http://www.riyescott.com/"><font color="#006633">Riyescott Ranch</font></a> and see the lambs and learn about wool, fleece and roving it didn&#8217;t matter that it was a driving rain storm.  It also didn&#8217;t matter that there was a river running down the steep road.  Or that we all got damp and fogged up our car windows.  It also didn&#8217;t matter that we had sheep &#8216;doo&#8217; on the bottom of our shoes along with them being muddy and wet.  Our Junior Girl Scout troop (and the brownies, parents and siblings) trekked up the road and saw this&#8230;</font></p>
<p><a target="_blank" href="http://photo.xanga.com/CAcablegal/f1830151531260/photo.html"><img width="400" src="http://xf1.xanga.com/8308341309059151531260/z112991106.jpg" alt="20071009_0025_1" style="float: left; border-width: 0px" /></a> <span style="width: 0px"></span></p>
<p><font size="4" face="Arial Narrow">They got to do this&#8230;.</font></p>
<p><a target="_blank" href="http://photo.xanga.com/CAcablegal/3179d151531276/photo.html"><img src="http://x31.xanga.com/79dd9b3523331151531276/s112991120.jpg" alt="20071009_0032_1" height="320" style="float: left; border-width: 0px" /></a></p>
<p><font size="4" face="Arial Narrow">And learned about that&#8230;.</font><a target="_blank" href="http://photo.xanga.com/CAcablegal/81fe9151531285/photo.html"><font size="4" face="Arial Narrow"><img width="400" src="http://x81.xanga.com/fe9d863270231151531285/z112991126.jpg" alt="20071009_0037_1_1" style="float: left; border-width: 0px" /></font></a><font size="4" face="Arial Narrow"> </font><span style="width: 0px"></span></p>
<p><font size="4" face="Arial Narrow">We ended the day with a drive through Dutch Brothers for Not So Hot Chocolates for the kids.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial Narrow"></font><font size="4">So far I&#8217;ve heard only rave reviews.  Thanks so much to Linda and her sheep, dogs, lambs and husband for letting us visit.  We can hardly wait to go back in the spring to have a picnic and hike around the property</font>.</p>
