I've worked with the following yarns and find they work great with my Circular Sock Machine for Socks Knit from YOUR yarn. If you do not see your yarn here, feel free to contact me.

These yarns do not work well in a circular sock machine:
Noro Kureyon Sock Yarn
Tofutsies
Any 100% wool (they will felt and shrink)
Any yarn with elastic also won't work. They are too stretchy and will make socks too small for adults. An example of this type of yarn is Cascade Fixation/Obsession.
100% Cotton yarns. There is not enough stretch in cotton to work well in a CSM.
